Hypnotherapy is one of the tools used in psychotherapy, where we temporarily relax the conscious mind and gain access to the powerful subconscious mind: where the core of the problem lies. In this beneficial, relaxed state, we replace undesirable, old habits with new, positive and healthy habits. Hypnotherapy is simply deep mental and physical relaxation, a form of heightened concentration and focused awareness.
Hypnotherapy may prove to be extremely beneficial for a wide range of psychological, physical, and behavioral issues. Hypnotherapy enables irrational fears, phobias, negative thoughts and suppressed emotions to be overcome. It is also used to help ease physical, mental, emotional, and psychological symptoms for example: Substance abuse (alcohol, tobacco, drug abuse and smoking cessation); Eating disorders: overeating, bulimia; Nail biting; Bed wetting; Sexual dysfunction; Aid in pain management and help resolve medical conditions such as digestive disorders skin issues, gastrointestinal side effects of pregnancy and chemotherapy; Asthma; Blood pressure; Reduction of nausea and vomiting in cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy; Anxiety and panic attacks, exam nerves; Phobias; Depression, mood swings, worry, guilt, grief, anger.
