Dimethyl Sulfoxide (DMSO) is a natural sulphur-based substance derived from wood pulp within the paper making industry. DMSO is most commonly known for its unique ability to easily penetrate the skin and go directly in to the blood stream, making it an effective transdermal.
Pure DMSO is a solid at cold temperatures and a clear, thin liquid in warmer temperatures.
Taste: Garlic-like taste and odour in the mouth, as well as a strong odour on the skin and breath.

Chronic condition protocol:

DMSO application:
- Test for skin Irritation.
- To prevent small molecules to go through skin with solvent: Thoroughly scrub your hands with soap and warm water before using them to apply DMSO in order to remove any skin products or lotions that could negatively interact with DMSO. Clean under your nails as well. Dry your hands when finished.
- Clean the area to be treated with warm water and soap, then pat dry. Treat a wider area than where the pain is localized.
- Rub the solvent into the skin. Avoid applying DMSO to irritated areas, open wounds, or broken skin.
- Allow to dry for 20 minutes. The topical application may include a skin reaction of erythema (skin redness), warmth and burning sensation.
- Wipe off any excess.
- Make sure your skin is dry before you put on clothes as DMSO can dissolve some substances.
- Avoid contact with toxic substances for three hours after application (as skin pores might be open for half an hour after application and toxins can be absorbed into your skin)
Concentrations of DMSO to be used:
- 50% concentration used around the face and neck
- 70% concentration used on other skin areas
Active Ingredient:
Dimethyl Sulfoxide 99.9%
Caution:
Good and bad bacteria cannot survive in DMSO and will be flushed out of your system. Put good bacteria back with pro-biotics.
Test for Skin Irritation. Dimethyl sulfoxide can irritate the skin, so before the first application, test a small amount on a small area on your arm. First clean your hands and a small area on your arm. Apply DMSO to the clean area to test sensitivity. The solution might burn a bit – it will go away after a few minutes. If your skin becomes itchy, red, or irritated, or if you develop a rash, stop using the product immediately. If you do have a reaction, it should appear within the first few minutes after applying DMSO.
If you apply DMSO topically to your skin, anything and everything that is on your skin (eg hand lotion, the soap from washing your hands, automotive oil, gasoline, lead dust (from handling tire weights), dust from fertilizing or putting herbicides on the lawn) are quite effectively dissolved and carried through your skin into your tissue and potentially your bloodstream.
Digestive issues: DMSO can cause upset stomach, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea when taken orally.
Skin reactions: DMSO can cause skin irritation, itching, and redness when applied topically.
Breath and body odour: DMSO can cause a garlic-like taste and odour in the mouth, as well as a strong odour on the skin and breath.
Interactions with other medications: DMSO may interact with other medications, including blood thinners, steroids, and sedatives.
Do not use during pregnancy, breastfeeding.
Discontinue use if signs of irritation or rash appear.
Store in a cool, dry place.
Keep out of reach of children.
