Co-Enzyme Q10 is a compound made by the body and stored in the mitochondria.  This antioxidant is largely responsible for your energy levels. As you age, your body produces less Co-Enzyme Q10, which is thought to be a major reason behind the gradual loss of energy past your twenties. This is because your body needs sufficient Co-Enzyme Q10  to convert food into energy.
